Friday Lenten Reflection #1

Good morning, SJU Vikings!

Today we reflect on the 4th Station- Jesus Meets His Mother

Click on the video below to join me.

This morning has been beautiful!  I have seen some of your parents picking up work and I heard from your teachers what a great job you are doing.  Keep it up!  This is the scene outside the office...and boxes will be out until 4pm. Take care and stay safe.

  1. Are there any plans for students to access the library? Will the students be able to take AR tests?

  2. The diocese is working on trying to make AR accessible from home. We will let families know when that becomes available. At this time, we recommend encouraging students to keep reading books at their "just right" level. :) Our library is not an option at this time. Each city library is taking a different approach with online access to books as well as delivery systems. I recommend looking into your local library's resources for the meantime. Teachers also are looking into various platforms, like Epic, to set up for families to access books online. We hope to have a resource available to share this upcoming week.

  3. Hi Mrs. Alamo-Ng,
    Hope you are fine.
If we choose not to pick up the printed material at school, do we still need to go to drop off the completed work? Is there any plan to return the completed work electronically instead of going to school?
    Thanks

  4. No, if you selected no to printed materials, work will be submitted directly through the curriculum websites or to the teacher through Class Dojo. Please be in communication with your teachers and they will direct you. Teachers will be specific as to what needs to be uploaded if it is not completed through student logins on Pearson Realize, Stemscopes, HMH, etc. Thank you for reaching out!
