We had a wonderful week expressing our gratitude for all the individuals who make the students' experience at St. Joseph School safe, fun, and faith-filled! Our students shared beautiful words each morning that described a sense of family and community despite the reality that we have not been in a physical school building for almost a year. There is so much to be grateful for and we hope to be together on campus soon. Our hope and faith continue to carry us through each day with a deep commitment to giving of our best selves to our work, learning, and fellow SJU Vikings!

SJU Vikings Celebrate Catholic Schools Week
This week we celebrate the blessing of our Catholic school community. We take this opportunity to thank the countless community service workers, volunteers, families, students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of our school for their ongoing support. We created a virtual tour video to show you some of the things we love about St. Joseph School. Click and see what students, teachers, and parents are saying!
We have also enjoyed Mask Monday and Class Color Spirit Days! SJU Vikings are having fun while continuing to learn and work hard during Catholic Online Synchronous Learning. Check out our Facebook Page "St. Joseph Upland" to see more photos of our students celebrating Catholic Schools Week.

St. Joseph School Cozy Christmas Sing-a-long
Tonight was a beautiful witness of faith, collaboration, and pure fun! I am so proud of everyone that participated, the families that were patient with the change of Zoom links to accommodate more people, and a HUGE THANK YOU to Mrs. Fessler for stepping in as the host right before the show. The performers brought so much joy to us during these very difficult times. Thank you for the prayers as well.
You are always in my HEART Vikings!

Advent Wreath Prayer Service- Lighting the Hope Candle (Week 1)
Lighting the candles of an Advent wreath is a tradition in our Church that many of us also share in our homes. Mrs. Alamo-Ng would like to share a prayer service for the first week of Advent. Feel free to join in with the phrase "Come, Lord Jesus" as you light your Advent candle of HOPE in your home.
Blessings to you and your family!
